Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield | “Dots on Maps” by Say HiOn the flight home from their honeymoon, newlyweds James (Eisenberg) and Ryan (Garfield) perish in a plane crash. After spending what feels like forever in limbo, James is sent to heaven— but Ryan is sent to hell. When asked why, Saint Peter says that Ryan was a serial killer, sending many innocent people to death for sport. James, a lawyer when he was alive, tells Peter that’s a mistake; he’s willing to defend Ryan so he can gain entrance into heaven. After some convincing, Peter agrees to hold a trial for his fate. Meanwhile, Ryan must stay in hell, which to him means being separated from James and forced to watch endless reruns of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Will James be able to save his husband, or will they be forever separated by the cosmos?
